Memorized transactions
Monthly rent, a retainer invoice, a standing journal: memorize the document once, and Fiscal reminds you when it is due. You check it and post it; nothing is posted automatically.
Memorize a document

- Give it a Name, for example Office rent or Monthly retainer – ABC Trading, and optional notes.
- To be reminded, tick Remind me on a schedule and set:
- Every and the Period: days, weeks, months, quarters or years, and the day to post on;
- Remind days before, to see it a little early;
- the First date, and an End date or a Number of times if it stops.
- Save.
Write {MonthName}, {Month}, {Year}, {PrevMonthName} or {Date} in the note, the reference or the line descriptions, for example Rent for {MonthName} {Year}. They are filled in with the posting date each time.
When it is due
Due transactions are counted on the bell in the top bar (choose Memorized transactions to post) and at the top of Financial›Memorized Transactions:
- Use opens the document, filled in with the posting date, for you to check and save.
- Skip skips this occurrence.
- Edit schedule changes the dates.
The list below shows every memorized transaction with its schedule, next due date and when it was last used. History shows each occurrence and the document it created. You can also Use one without a schedule at any time.
Daily reminder email
In Settings›Email›Memorized Reminders, tick Send a daily reminder email, enter the Recipients and the time to Send at. The email lists what is due in every branch, is sent through the account in Email setup and templates, and only on days when something is due. Send Now sends it straight away to test.
