What is Fiscal?
Fiscal is a cloud accounting and ERP system for businesses in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install.
What you can do with Fiscal
- Sales: estimates, sales orders, delivery notes, invoices with VAT and ZATCA QR codes, customer payments, credit notes and refunds.
- Purchases: purchase orders, goods receipts, bills, vendor payments and vendor credits.
- Inventory: items with units, batches and expiry dates, several warehouses per branch, transfers, adjustments, stock counts and assemblies.
- Accounting and banking: chart of accounts, journal entries, expenses, fund transfers, post-dated cheques, bank deposits and reconciliation.
- Point of sale and van sales for shops, restaurants and delivery routes, if your plan includes them.
- Reports: financial statements, VAT, sales, receivables and payables, inventory, and a business analysis page.
- The Fiscal mobile app, for owners and managers to follow the business from their phone, in English and Arabic.
How Fiscal is organised
Each company has its own Fiscal database. Within the company, the data is organised like this:
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Company | Your business, with its legal name, VAT number, address and base currency. See Company profile. |
| Branch | A location or division that has its own documents and its own figures in the reports, for example Riyadh and Jeddah. Every document belongs to one branch. See Branches. |
| Warehouse | A place where stock is kept. Every warehouse belongs to one branch, and a branch can have several. See Warehouses. |
| User | A person who signs in to Fiscal with an email address and a password. See Users. |
| User group | A set of rights (view, create, modify, delete, print) that you give to several users at once, for example Sales or Accounts. See User groups and rights. |
| Voucher type | A kind of document, such as an invoice or a bill, with its own numbering (for example INV-26-00001). See Voucher types and numbering. |
| Posting | When you save a document, Fiscal updates the accounts (the journal) and the stock at the same time, so the reports are always up to date. |
What you need
- A computer, laptop or tablet with an up-to-date browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox).
- An internet connection.
- A Fiscal user account. Your company's Fiscal administrator creates it for you (see Users). The first user, the master user, is created by Exler IT Hub when your company's subscription starts.
